Priority-1: Enhancing Chinuch for our Children

Priority-1 Chicago Mentoring Program: A Chicago initiative, where local boys and girls are paired with caring mentors, to help them grow and deal with life's challenges. These mentors receive training and can have a tremendous impact on a youth's life.

Communit Training Initiative: In 2008 alone, over 2,000 parents and educators participated in Priority-1 community training programs.

* Parenting Programs: Last year, close to 1,700 parents attended seminars and workshops in various communities around the nation, and in Israel.

* Teaching Seminars: Since 2006, hundreds of teachers have attended targeted training workshops to learn methods of addressing contemporary classroom challenges. The Chicago branch of the Teacher Training program has trained over 60 local teachers during the past three years.

Parenting Expo: This groundbreaking parenting event, a "Graduate School for Parents," attracted over 500 parents from the New York metro area. The Chicago Parenting Expo took place April 26, 2009 and over 150 parents attended.

Priority-1 Website (www.priority-1.org): Our fully revamped website is a conduit for users to access a vast collection of free resources for parents, educators, teenagers, and service providers, including audio and video archives, and weekly live webcasts.

Web Streaming/Video Conferencing: Priority-1 has harnassed the power of advanced video-conferencing technology for use in its Chinuch Training network, allowing our programs to reach communities around the globe through live broadcast lectures and events.
