I am writing you with a message of optimism and hope. It’s true. The Jewish people have the answer to everything. In the face of adversity and financial uncertainty, we have the secret, the golden nugget, that everyone is searching for. Times like this are certainly a formidable test of our faith and trust in Hashem. Hashem gives us tests to bring out the best in us, and to give us the chance to reach higher. These tests are meant to be passed, and we are capable of passing them! After all, they are for our benefit.

What is the secret to passing this economic test?

Second, since we know that Hashem is in control of our financial situation, we must follow the instructions that He has given us in the Torah on how to properly earn a Parnassah and invest our money. Sincere Bitachon would dictate that following these guidelines, which are clearly spelled out by Chazal and the Shulchan Aruch, will have a dramatic impact on our finances and certainly not result in difficulties.
