a new post-high school Yeshiva in Israel.
The Yeshiva caters to Talmidim who are looking for a small Yeshiva that will teach them to develop a Derech in learning and solid Hashkafos for life.
SOLID FOUNDATIONS
As an affiliate of Yeshiva Zichron Aryeh in Far Rockaway, New York, Yeshiva Ohr Hatzafon enjoys many benefits that are unavailable to other Israeli Yeshivos.
- It is under the supervision of the Rosh HaYeshiva, Rabbi Shaya Cohen, who is in constant contact with the Rebbeim and staff to monitor the Yeshiva’s activities.
- In addition to being respected Talmidei Chachomim, the Rebbeim of Yeshiva Zichron Aryeh and Yeshiva Ohr Hatzafon are thoroughly trained to be expert Mechanchim. Their experience with American Talmidim makes YOH uniquely qualified in the field of Israeli Yeshivos.
- Through modern videoconferencing technology, talmidim benefit from additional Shiurim, Shmuessen and informal discussions with the Rebbeim of YZA who enhance their learning and growth.
- Perhaps most importantly, this affiliation gives Talmidim the opportunity for continuity upon their return to America. They will have a well-established Yeshiva to attend and caring Rebbeim to confide in as they embark on their future goals.

Yeshiva Ohr HaTzafon is situated in the quiet Ramot Daled neighborhood of Yerushalayim.
It is close enough to Yerushalayim to enjoy all of the benefits, like shopping, sightseeing, transportation and that unique "Yerushalayim" experience. Yet it is also far enough to free Talmidim of many of the distractions of the city.
