Major Program for English-speaking Fathers and Mechanchim

In response to the growing concern over the challenges facing our children, Priority-1, in conjunction with Yedidim Mentoring Program, presented a major event for English-speaking parents and educators in Yerushalayim. Speakers included the Rosh Hayeshiva of Yeshivas Ohr Somayach, Rabbi Mendel Weinbach, and Rabbi Shaya Cohen, Founder of Priority-1.

Priority-1 is an organization based in New York that has addressed the needs of teenagers “at-risk” for the past 20 years. Most recently, they have focused their efforts on training parents and educators to prevent difficulties from spiraling out of control and effectively stop the “at-risk” challenges before they even start.

Yedidim is a mentoring program that pairs up teenagers with caring mentors. It has seen tremendous success with the teenagers that they help over the past several years.
